New Kind of Love

Saturday, December 19, 2009

This might be my favorite book ever. Kenyon wears his poetic & romantic heart on his sleeve in this little gem. Forget any presuppositions you may have heard about EW. "New Kind Of Love" is different than his other books...or anyone else's for that matter. Simply read this and agree that your heart deserves to be captured by the God of Love. It's not that our love is so weak, it's that God's love is so great. He IS love, He can't help but love, it's who He is. What a love story of redemption Kenyon writes! Short chapters so you can read it on your breaks at work, or during tea time at home.

Bible In The Light Of Our Redemption

Saturday, December 19, 2009
I have read most of brother Kenyons books, and I believe the Lord gave him the ability to teach us the most simple, but the most powerful way to study the word of God. This book walks you through the scriptures and points out the answers to MANY questions that ALL christians need to know. It was a great help to me in understanding and also gave me even greater respect and love for the Holy Word of God.

Identification

Saturday, December 19, 2009
This is a MUST HAVE for anyone seriously wanting the fullness of God!! Ever wonder what "in Him", "with Him", through Him",etc." really encompasses? Kenyon explains the full meaning of the work of Jesus and shows what God intended for us all along, from before the Creation, to have, enjoy, and live in, and share, not just in heaven, but in this earthly life. I seriously recommend this beautiful work and all of E W Kenyon's materials to those really wanting to "taste and see that the Lord is good!!" What a wonderful, loving God we have!!

E.W. Kenyon and His Message of Faith: The True Story

Saturday, December 19, 2009
Having read several of Kenyon's life-changing books, McIntyre's book is an extremely interesting read. The book is well-written and is extremely well researched and documented. With a wealth of quotes, anecdotes, and details of Kenyon's life heretofore unpublished, McIntyre totally disarms the critics, removes misconceptions about the message of faith, and properly restores Kenyon's reputation as one of the finest of God's end time writers.

If you are one of the many Christians whose ears have been poisoned by listening to other misguided ministers malign and criticize E.W. Kenyon's books as heretical, you owe it to yourself to read this book! From it, you get a glimpse of Kenyon's heart and motivation in writing his books, his great love for his Lord and for people, and solid proof that Kenyon's message was firmly planted in orthodox soil. (In my opinion, anyone who labels Kenyon as heretical after reading McIntyre's book is attempting to willfully misunderstand Kenyon's writings.)

I would highly recommend any honest, thirsting heart that wants to know God better and anyone who wants to be everything that God wants him to be in Christ, to read all of E.W. Kenyon's books. The revelation that Kenyon unveils in the Word of God makes "ordinary" Christianity extraordinary, and will totally change the person who grabs hold of it. No wonder the devil hates Kenyon's books!

Thank you, Joe McIntyre, for writing this book and "setting the record straight." Proverbs 18:17, John 7:51

In His Presence

Saturday, December 19, 2009
Bet you can read this book just once! I have read and re-read this book several times since I first bought it 10 years ago and have given it to several friends. I have read most of Kenyon's books listed at this site. The author helps you understand your position in Christ in very simple to understand words. His primary focus in this book is our fellowship with God the Father through Jesus using the discipline of prayer. You will gain a whole new understanding of just how powerful prayer can be and how much more we were each meant to attain in life.

The Wonderful Name Of Jesus!

Saturday, December 19, 2009
What a read! This book will change your life if you will only open your heart to what is written on the pages. Mr. Kenyon clearly explains our authority as believers in the use of the Name of Jesus. Biblically sound, using many, many references, one can only put this book down to again pick it back up and read somemore. How much are we missing not understanding the authority behind that wonderful Name! This book will leave you a changed person and a very thankful one! Excellent!

The Father & His Family

Thursday, December 17, 2009

E.W. Kenyon truly has a way with communicating the depth of God's Word with simplicity. In this book, the story of man's redemption and the spiritual freedom wrought by Christ are clearly laid out for any child of God to understand. Throughout this book it is evident that Kenyon has a great love and respect for the Word of God. This is a book to read and re-read as your understanding of your position in Christ grows.

Kenyon covers the reason for creation, man's treason, the dominion of death, man's need for a mediator, the sin bearer, the new birth, the family of God, the household of God, claiming your rights and many more topics.

While many of these truths are expounded by many writers, few have communicated them as simply, as eloquently and as lovingly as E.W. Kenyon.

Never Give Up!: Relentless Determination to Overcome Life's Challenges

Thursday, December 17, 2009

Joyce Meyer is probably better equipped than anyone when it comes to never giving up. She overcame an abused childhood, a bad marriage and extremely limited opportunities to become one of the most popular author/speakers in the world. JoyceMeyerMinistries was the first ministry in America to be headed by a woman, and it's one of the largest in the world. If anyone knows how to hold on to a dream and realize it, it's her. Packed with examples of people who pursued their goals relentlessly, the book profiles nearly fifty individuals who prevailed against all odds. From the builder of the Brooklyn Bridge to the chemists who invented Post-It notes we meet people like Bessie Coleman, an African-American who had to go to flight school in Paris in order to learn how to fly. But she did, becoming the first woman in America to earn her pilot's license in 1920.

New Creation Realities

Thursday, December 17, 2009

This is a fabulous unfolding of who a person becomes at the point of accepting Christ as their Savior. It biblically breaks down the "new creation" process and through the Word of God shows you what that means and how it was appropriated. You clearly see your new identity and you get a clear picture of not only what God sees and thinks about you, you also get biblical proof that those thoughts are indeed factual. If you struggle with guilt or condemnation or at times think that things are just "too good to be true" you must read this book and realize it is very true.It is impossible to rise to your true stature and destiny if you first don't know or even understand what it all entails. This book points you in the right direction. This is not for the religious traditionalists...but rather for the hungry ones who want more.

Plain Papers on the Doctrine of the Holy Spirit

Thursday, December 17, 2009

Until the day of Pentecost, the disciples, who had received, by the outbreathing of Christ, the indwelling Spirit, waited for His coming "upon" them; and when that day was fully come, with the outward manifestations of sound and flame, He came. They were baptized with the Holy Ghost; and not only baptized, but "filled with the Holy Ghost." —from Plain Papers on the Holy Spirit.
In the late 19th century, a new fascination with Pentecostalism gripped American Christianity, one that continues to this day to influence fundamentalist interpretations of the Bible. This 1899 book, a literal reading of Scripture, offers Christians the path to a direct relationship with the Holy Spirit. From the nature of this being to the absolute necessity of all Christians to commune with it, this is a vital historical work that all students of the Bible will want to read.

Dispensational Truth, or God's Plan and Purpose in the Ages

Thursday, December 17, 2009

The Reverend Clarence Larkin was one of the most widely influential pop theologians of the early twentieth century: his works are the source of many of the "prophecies" and "truths" end-times Christians hold to even today. This stupendous 1918 book-perhaps his greatest work-is the result of more than 30 years' worth of, the author informs us, "careful and patient study of the Prophetic Scriptures." Fully illustrated by charts describing God's plan for humanity, Dispensational Truth covers: • Pre-Millennialism • the Second Coming of Christ • the present evil world • the Satanic trinity • the world's seven great crises • prophetical chronology • the threefold nature of man • the Book of Revelation • five fingers pointing to Christ • the False Prophet • and much more. American Baptist pastor and author CLARENCE LARKIN (1850-1924) was born in Pennsylvania, and later set up his ministry there. He wrote extensively and popularly on a wide range of Biblical and theological matters.

Rightly Dividing the Word

Thursday, December 17, 2009
"The Author started to prepare an 'A B C' book to introduce his larger Work on 'Dispensational Truth,' but after writing and condensing several times he felt led to abandon that idea and to prepare a book on 'Rightly Dividing the Word,' in which the 'Fundamental Doctrines' should be 'Rightly Divided' in a series of contrasts. The 'Fundamental Doctrines' of the Christian Faith are clearly outlined in numerous books on Theology, but they are not available to the average reader and were mainly written for students. The Author has made it the work of his ministry to preach the 'Fundamental Doctrines.' To this end he has aimed to express them in the simplest and clearest manner possible."-From the Foreword.

What Happened From the Cross to the Throne

Thursday, December 17, 2009
Kenyon had a relationship with God that transcends time. He was an author in tune with the Spirit of God. He doesn't give the reader alot of fluff or opinion but instead he backs up every statement with the Word of God. This book is deep and yet very understandable, it is modern and yet a classic. This book will unveil to you the cross in all its glory and open the veil of the Holiest of Holies unto you. Read it slowly... because this book unveils great understanding of who Jesus is and what he still doing for the believer. He is our Great High Priest!

Smith Wigglesworth on Healing

Thursday, December 17, 2009

Smith, through his many stories and topics in this book, shows us that we as believers don't have to wait for some mighty work of God in our lives to start walking in the power of God--God has already given us the authority over sickness, disease, etc. through His Son, Jesus. He shows us our hang ups, encourages us to let go of those, and then gives us examples of what happens when we do--not only in our own lives but also in the lives of those we will impact as result.

Jesus the Healer

Thursday, December 17, 2009

Kenyon, a prolific writer, evangelist and Bible teacher from the early 1900's, explains how we received our healing with our salvation; uses hundreds of scriptures to expand on the Isaiah 53 verses where our redemption was outlined; describes how sin and sickness have the same source (satan); and outlines how to walk in what you've been given by the Father, and how to share it with others. Healing was and is God's method of advertising! This truth (reality) is as fresh now, 80 years later, as the scriptures on which it's based. Read it and find out why Kenyon is still impacting the world with the Word!

Smith Wigglesworth on the Holy Spirit

Thursday, December 17, 2009

If you are interested in the power of God you must read this book! God has done marvelous things throughout history, and men have longed to understand them.
Many believe that God is working with signs and miracles following all around the world. We hear of miracles in South America and Africa, but we do not experience them here at home. When we do hear of God's power in the states it is limited to a few isolated incidents, or static reports of euphoric but intangible incidents.
What part of the equation are we missing? This book may be helpful in clearing up the answers. Wigglesworth's work is completely dependent on the Bible and the lead of the Holy Spirit. Within it there is no divergence from God's inspired Word. Therefore, I find it trustworthy and useful for unlocking our understanding of God's Word.
This isn't a book to casually read in an afternoon. You'll need time to sit with it and your Bible, to study and understand what the Spirit says in the text of the Bible and the life of Smith Wigglesworth.

LOVE Revolution

Thursday, December 17, 2009

Joyce Meyer is not satisfied with the status quo. She believes that we each need to become a revolutionary and practice love every day. And if Joyce has her way, the revolution will spread - person by person, house by house, town by town, until the old culture of selfishness and greed gives way to a new culture of concern for others. The book is a revolutionaries' manual, a hands-on primer for bringing the Golden Rule to life in the twenty-first century. Meyer starts out by giving some stunning statistics. Right now...210,000 children will die this week because of poverty; 640 million children do not have adequate shelter; every day, 3,000 children are abducted into the sex-trafficking industry; every day, 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes. She goes on to say that although crisis is global, the solution is local. We can't solve the world's problems, but that isn't a reason to remain idle. LOVE REVOLUTION focuses on personal behavior on the local scale. It's not just a call to action; it is a call to being: being the person who goes out of your way to encourage someone who's out of hope; being the one who smiles at a stranger; being the one who is willing to do something for nothing. The paradox: when we do something for nothing, what we often get is something far greater.
